A single yellow EID Tag, used as a Slaughter Tag for sheep under 12 months of age going to slaughter. Yellow is used for animals tagged on their birth holding, red for animals tagged for slaughter on a different holding from their birth holding.
These are top quality plastic tags designed to survive harsh conditions, protecting the electronic transponder inside (in the case of EID tags) and laser-printed to ensure numbers and letters are easy to read.

Please note a yellow slaughter tag is recommended for Scotland though it can be any colour other than red or black.
